[Event Post - Domino Plaza]

*It's effectively the start of Fall! The weather might've gotten a bit cooler, but it's still plenty warm out.

In Domino Plaza, closer to the afternoon to evening hours, there seems to be a few stands set up with some lights-- upon closer inspection, it seems to be for a charity event of some sort, including a food stand serving some sort of stew or curry, and a donation food drive for non-perishables.

A surprising thing to note is that Yugo is there, helping to serve the meals! He seems pretty cheerful, and he just lights up whenever kids come by, making sure to boast about how he's going to be the best Riding Duelist and that the kids should totally watch him whenever they can.

Maybe you should investigate into what he's doing?*

She's being rather quiet though, it's impressive how good you are with kids.

*he's great with them-- you notice some kids even come back a few times more just to get his attention, though at some point he does have to gently (in his own way) scold them for blocking the line too much. But he promises to come and play with them once he's done with all of the food serving.

It's more impressive he has the energy to keep up with them!*

*well, he's not gonna judge when you finally reach the front of the line, ladling out the meal for you. Just keep up a certain air of professionalism with this girl who seems to want to maybe stab him??*

*Better than investigating, Rin is also helping out at the food stand alongside Yugo. She occasionally glances over to look at Yugo interacting with the kids. It puts a smile on her face seeing how much he lights up around them.

When she gets a quiet moment, she moves over to him.*

I dunno, I think kids just know someone impressive when they see them, is all!

Well, they sure do seem to be enjoying talking with you.

Being good with kids is a good quality to have.
Especially when you're aiming to be the best Riding Duelist.

Well of course, I gotta keep up the energy and the spirit! My biggest fans are gonna be kids like this, so I gotta make the best of impressions!

Though I gotta admit, I don't think I have the same sorta showmanship that Yuya has, that draws people in so well. I wonder how he goes and pulls it off, sometimes.

Hmm, I think you have showmanship, but it's a different kind than Yuya's. I think it's understandable, considering how different Action Duels are to Riding Duels, you can't really do the same kind of preforming in them.

Yeah, I think doing flips off of my bike to ride on Clear Wing Synchro Dragon might be a little much for the regulations...

*he says that like the idea of it being an impossible feat to physically do isn't really a consideration, it's giving the moderators a heart attack that's the problem!*

*She lets out another amused laugh.*

Probably a little too much, yeah.

Though the idea of riding on the back of Clear Wing is a nice thought.
You'd be able to feel the wind really well riding on it.

*She closes her eyes, taking a moment to imagine how it would feel.*

Hey, with how Yuya likes to ride on the back of his dragon, it's gotta have it's perks, right?

I don't think summoning your monster to ride it for a duel is legal in Riding Duels, though. Not that I'd ever replace our bike for anything else in the world! Not even a dragon ride!

You're right.
Riding on the back of a dragon sounds awesome, but we really put a lot of love and hard work into that bike. No dragon, or anything else, could ever replace it.

Now, what if I could ride on top of a dragon while on TK...

That sounds even less legal in a riding duel.
And more dangerous.

I'm kidding, I'm kidding! I wouldn't do that to either TK or Clear Wing Synchro Dragon. I think I'd get warped into a swamp somewhere if I try that, anyway.

Just because nothing is impossible, doesn't mean I'll try everything that pops into my head.

Sometimes it's that 'usually' that worries me.

But you're right. I should trust your judgement more and not assume you'll try everything you say.

I'll admit that sometimes when I see you use Clear Wing in duels and I think how nice it would be to fly, I DO think 'I wonder if it's ever possible to make D-Wheels fly and in the future there could be flying riding duels'.

Like, completely 100% in the air.

... I even tried drawing up plans for a flying D-Wheel once, but it didn't really work out.

And just because it didn't work out when you tried designing it, doesn't mean it's impossible to do! You just gotta start with a baseline idea!

Like say: maybe bikes need to be more aerodynamic and have more stability when making jumps and doing landings!

I'm not really sure flying riding duels would take off anyway, plus I'd have to think of the safety of them AND make sure flying D-Wheels are as environmentally friendly as they can be, since that's important and...

... it's a lot to think about.

Just because it's a lot to think about, doesn't mean it isn't achievable!

Besides, who doesn't like thinking about what it feels like, to soar through the air!

*he gets a little too excited, just about throwing his ladle that he still had with him, but after a quick scramble and jump, he manages to catch it, to the jubilation of some of the kids who've been lurking around and watching*

Well, maybe flying D-Wheels are something for the future.
Not so sure flying ladles will catch on though.

I sure wasn't asking if the ladle wanted to fly!

But... I do think if you keep having any thoughts about it, you should at least keep trying at it. Even more than something idle, people've always thought about a future with flying cars and all of that.

So why not flying D-Wheels?

I'll keep it on the idea pile for now then.
And even if it's an idea that doesn't work out, maybe I'll create something else along the way that does.
