[Meanwhile, in Another Place...] [Locked Event]
*So, Yuzu. You had a busy day. Between being chased by blue uniformed goons, Sora being weird, meeting your twin sister clone imposter that's from the future, being hunted down by a Yuya who was absolutely not Yuya-like, and then getting hugged by a motorcycle not-Yuya, the peace of being currently unconscious is likely an inviting break.
... Well, too bad, because you're waking up, and you become almost immediately aware of a boy leaning over you, shaking your shoulder, saying something that your ears can't really pick up just yet.

Duel the cops?!

And then you hear something say "FIELD SPELL - SPEED WORLD NEO - ON", before you see the surroundings change. The lights seem to get brighter, and barriers go up declaring this a Duel Zone. Trucks on the highway start to move to the side to get to exits and other routes.
Yugo's own readout makes it clear. "Duel Mode: On. Autopilot: Standby."*
Yeah. We're dueling.
*he glances over his shoulder as his deck loads and shuffles* I dunno how it is where you're from...
But here, in the City... Dueling is everything. It can raise a person up to be a winner, straight to the top. Or it can cause them to lose everything. When it comes to arrests on the highway, dueling's used to try to take down, and even to disable the target's D-Wheel, before capturing them.

Blink.]
H-hold on a sec!
Isn't this...isn't this called a..."Riding Duel"!?

So you do know what they are? *he says that like he's actually surprised. The robot opponent speeds up to close the gap, as Yugo draws his five cards.
As an added bonus, a screen pops up, floating on the side of the road in midair, showing... them and the robocop as they're riding.*

*he grabs one of the cards, keeping one hand on the controls* I start off! Summon, Speedroid Tri-Eyed Dice! (300/1500)
*A pyramid-looking dice monster appears, as Yugo grabs another card.* Since I control a WIND monster, I special summon Speedroid Taketomborg! (600/1200)
no subject
I don't wanna go to jail and I dunno how to drive a bike, so, I hope you're good!
no subject
*he turns his attention back to the duel* Tuning! Level 3 Tuner Monster Tri-Eyed Dice, and Level 3 Monster Taketomborg!
Cross-shaped magical sword, slice all your enemies with your power! Synchro Summon! Appear, Level 6 Hi-Speedroid Kendama! (2200/1600)
*the rings and the streak of light occur, as a new monster forms that looks like a toy at first, shifting it's shape until it looks more like a flying vehicle. It turns to face where the duelbot is.*
I banish Taketomborg from my Graveyard to inflict 500 damage to the opponent! *and then a laser shoots out, causing the robot to swerve slightly. (4000 > 3500 LP)*
Got in the first hit... I set one card, and end my turn!

Uhm. Hey! Teleport! Disappear!
...
Abra-kadabra?!

The robocop responds, now, in that semi-robotic voice.*
Normal Summon: Jutte Fighter. (700/900) Activate effect of Sasumata Gardna in my hand. Reduce the ATK of your Hi-Speedroid Kendama by 500 ATK; Special Summon it from my hand.
*Yugo grits his teeth as Kendama goes down to 1700 ATK, as another monster appears-- a kabuki-style warrior with a shield.*
Tuning: Level 2 Tuner Monster Jutte Fighter, Level 3 Monster Sasumata Gardna. Synchro Summon, Level 5 Goyo Chaser. (1900/1000)
*that's sure a different kabuki actor coming out from the streak of light. And thanks to the ATK reduction, it's leaping up and hitting Kendama with it's baton, causing it to shatter. (Yugo: 4000 > 3800 LP)
... Of course, the icing on the top is when Kendama reappears on the robocop's field, with 1100 ATK.*

*He suddenly steers to the side as Kendama attacks with it's laser, to avoid the brunt of it, his LP reflecting the damage instead. (3800 > 2700 LP). The Robocop sets a card as the turn ends, but Yugo looks plenty annoyed about this.*

[Yuzu holds tight as he swerves.]
W-warn me before you do that! Geez!
no subject
Draw! *draws the card, adding it to the holder*
I summon Speedroid Ohajikid! (1000/200) It's effect activates, letting me Special Summon a tuner from either player's Graveyard, and then use it for a Synchro Summon!
Since you like stealing monsters so much, let's see how you like! Come out, Jutte Fighter! *Jutte Fighter appears on Yugo's field, but only for a moment, as the stars and rings form.*
Level 2 Tuner Monster Jutte Fighter, and Level 3 Monster Ohajikid! Tuning! Constantly moving soul of swordplay, appear! Level 5, Hi-Speedroid Chanbara! (2000/1000) *oh, now it's a big blade ship, that's a step up from the toy*
Battle! Each time Chanbara attacks, it gains 200 ATK! (2000 > 2200 ATK) Take out Kendama!
*Chanbara speeds in and slices through Kendama easily... (3500 > 2400 LP)*
And then Chanbara can attack a second time in each battle phase! Get rid of Goyo Chaser, now! (2200 > 2400 ATK)
*... before turning around and slicing right through Goyo Chaser. (2400 > 1900 LP)*

You're pretty good with those Synchro monsters!

Activate set card: Descending Lost Star. I revive Goyo Chaser at Level 4 in Defense Position. DEF reduced to 0.
*Goyo Chaser reappears on the road, taking a defensive stance. (0 DEF) Yugo gives it a look over his shoulder, as the duelbot keeps closing the gap between them. He ends his turn there as the robot draws.*
Summon Tuner Monster: Torapart. (600/600)
Tuning. Level 2 Tuner Monster Torapart, and Level 4 Monster Goyo Chaser. Synchro Summon, Level 6 Goyo Predator. (2400/1200) Attack Hi-Speedroid Chanbara.

Activate Quick-Play Spell, Rush Recklessly.
*Ah, there's the other shoe drop. Predator increases to 3100 ATK, using the spike on the end of it's weapon to whip into Chanbara, shattering it. (2700 > 2000 LP)
Yugo has to keep a hold of the controls with both hands as he swerves slightly, but so far so good...*
Goyo Predator's effect. Special Summon Hi-Speedroid Chanbara. Damage is halved from it's attacks.
*... and Chanbara reappears, it's blade glinting as it slices through the D-Wheel and Yugo (2000 > 2200 ATK), and nearly cuts you, Yuzu. Yugo has to grit his teeth and keep from losing control of his bike. (2000 > 900 LP)*
no subject
[Yuzu is rattled on the back.]
Hey!
You're losing!
Cut that out!
no subject
*Chanbara turns around, it's ATK going up to 2400 as it rushes in to attack. Yugo manages to get the bike under control just enough to activate his set card.*
Go! Trap card, Dice Roll Battle! I banish from my hand and Graveyard, Speedroid Red-Eyed Dice, and Hi-Speedroid Kendama... to conduct a Synchro Summon!
Level 1 Tuner Red-Eyed Dice, and Level 6 Monster Kendama, tuning! *the monsters appear, before vanishing into stars, gathering up into a cluster of lights*
Flap your beautiful and heroic wings to strike the enemy at the speed of light! Synchro Summon! Appear, Level 7 Clear Wing Synchro Dragon! (2500/2000)
*the light streaks, as a white and blue dragon erupts from it, letting out an echoing roar as it flies in the air next to where Yugo and Yuzu are riding.*
no subject
Clear Wing Synchro Dragon...!
[It's hard not to immediately think of Odd-Eyes and Dark Rebellion when she sees it.]
no subject
There's no way it's a coincidence at this point.*
Dice Roll Battle forces battle with Clear Wing Synchro Dragon!
*The Duelbot registers what just happened, as Chanbara swings around to try to attack Clear Wing, it's effect activating...*
... and when another Level 5 or higher monster activates it's effect, I can negate and destroy that monster, and add it's attack to Clear Wing Synchro Dragon! Dichroic Mirror! *Clear Wing's wings begin to glow with energy, before blasting out at Chanbara, destroying it utterly as Clear Wing's ATK boosts up to 4500.
And as much as the Duelbot doesn't want it to happen, Predator leaps in to attack as well, Clear Wing swinging around in the air to cut through with it's glowing wings. (1900 > 500 LP)*
